If the Department is able to sponsor your application, you will be notified by 29 April 2020. Sponsored applicants will then be invited to work with their sponsors to develop their formal Expressions of Interest to the Faculty a draft of which must be submitted to the University by 6 May 2020 for compliance checking, with final Expressions of Interest documents due on 14 May 2020.
Please note that this scheme is extremely competitive. In the past, successful candidates have had a strong publication track record and have demonstrated ability to win funding.
It is also important that there is a good fit between the research interests of applicants and sponsors. For this reason, potential applicants are strongly advised to review the research profiles of potential sponsors. These can be viewed via the Department staff list available here.
